About Sun Ridge Canyon Golf Club (Fountain Hills, AZ)
Located in Fountain Hills, 1/2 mile north of Eagle Mountain, is this picturesque desert course. Sunridge features Penncross bent-grass greens, five sets of tees, elevated tee boxes, mounded fairways, and a 75-foot natural rock formation which forms the canyon surrounding this course. The Keith Foster design takes you down into a peaceful canyon on the front side and brings you back up and out of it on the back. It's truly one of the areas "super courses."

Probably alittle too difficult for our group. No reflection on the course, just a littole too tough.

William (Colorado Springs, CO) says:
Very dramatic in elevation and great lay out. Back nine plays up hill and they say always windy.

Robert (Glen Ellyn, IL) says:
Fun course with fantastic views of the suronding mountains. Bring a camera. Excellant condition all around.

Chip (Millersville, MD) says:
My favorite course. Magnificent layout. Very, very challenging, but it is Arizona golf. While the views are not as overwhelming as Eagle Mountain, the course itself is even more attractive. Hated my score, but loved the course. So that says something.

Ray says:
I found this course too difficult for an 18 handicapper. Although there are many interesting and great looking holes, almost every shot has the potential for disaster. Fairways are difficult to hit and good shots are often rewarded with another difficult shot to the green. I lost too many balls!!

Peter says:
Very tight course but great fun. Definitely need a second play

Mike (Pittsburgh, PA) says:
The course is no place for anyone with a handicap of 10 or above. Our group was totally burned out after 18 holes.

Brendan (Dieppe, NB) says:
Too tight for my liking

Larry (Stow, OH) says:
A lot of blind shots and even with GPS, a great deal of local knowledge would be required to score well here.

The wind kicked up on the back nine and made the last 5 holes very tough to negotiate.

Listen to the starter and play the right tee boxes! This IS a target golf course. Great design, the greens were a little slow. Very scenic and 2 sleeves is a good day.
